The Perth-Bunbury Australind train, which has been run road buses since 2023, is returning to train operation from June 29 with the introduction of new railcar trains. Initially, just one service four days per week, the morning southbound and afternoon northbound, on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will be run as a train with the remainder of services being run by buses, but as new trains arrive from the manufacturer, all services will return to train operation, and more frequent services will be progressively introduced.
